How it Works....

I have a passion for sharing yoga in a way that meets your needs and supports an individualised approach. I offer this personalised plan through one on one yoga coaching.  Create a plan to move towards your goals for your mind, body and spirit.  

Yoga is about noticing the unity in all things, the practice of pausing to come back to ourselves, our intention, our intuition and good health. 

Step 1. Book a discovery call with Nicole

Let’s have a casual chat and get to know each other!

You can see if my vibes align with yours, and ask me any yoga questions at all. 

I can let you know how I may be able to support you and point you in the right direction. 

Step 2. Nicole will book your first 1:1 session

The days and times that I offer these sessions can vary and be flexible around your schedule. The first session we have together will be longer than the others (around 90 minutes) as it gives me an opportunity to work through your needs, your experience and your medical background to create a plan that is truly unique. 

Step 3. Follow up Sessions 

There can be a number of follow up sessions that occur post the initial consultation. These can be done to refine your personalised plan, help you to overcome obstacles and ensure that you are meeting your goals. I offer single sessions and 1:1 bundles so that you can plan ahead to achieve your desired outcomes.

1:1 Yoga sessions

Is one on one right for me? 

Are you feeling like it would be amazing to learn some yoga strategies and tools that are accessible for you to practice without your yoga teacher and without going in to a yoga studio?

This way you learn by repetition, to practice on your own watch, how to integrate the tools of yoga in to your life. 

 

One on one practice is for you if you are:

* Pregnant and wanting to plan personalised ways to relax, improve sleep, stretch tight muscles, work with pain, and prepare for labour. 

* In your postnatal stage and want to be curious about connecting with yourself and bub, gentle movement and mindfulness. 

* A social worker pouring from an empty cup, wanting to replenish and learn regulation, relaxation and breathing strategies for yourself that you could then show others.

* A nurse with thoughts racing from work interested in working with a few gentle movements and meditations that could leave you feeing more centred, connected and refreshed so you can continue being yourself when your shift ends. 

 

 

Why work with Nicole? 


Be supported by Nicole (qualified in social work and trauma aware yoga teaching) to notice the interconnected nature of your body, breath, mind, habits, daily activities and over all health. 

For 3 to 6 months you are supported by Nicole via text and follow up face to face sessions to over come barriers to your personal practice and adopt your practice so it really feels like yours, your way of finding what you seek, what you need. It may be balance, rest, comfort, challenge, strength, routine, grounding, centreing etc.

1. First session:
The initial consultation

90 minutes 

Meet with Nicole at Picton or online for a long chat. Nicole will partner with you to complete the Scai Yoga holistic health and goals consultation form.

 

Discussion about yoga and health history and current goals for your life, breath, body, mind and spirit. 

This is to understand if you currently practice any yoga at home, what suits you and your situation to ensure we create a practice that is best suited to you and your current needs. 
 

Discussion of your yoga practice preferences. For example if you would like your personalised holistic take home yoga practice to be drawn down visually, in a video format and / or as an audio file. 

BEHIND THE SCENES: Nicole will then take time to develop your personal practice.

4. Fourth session:
Advance your personalised practice

60 minutes. 

This session usually about three weeks after 3rd session. 

You will have an opportunity to move through your practice for Nicole to observe and provide feedback.

By this time you may feel confident and comfortable with your practice. You may want to spice it up or make it longer! Time to advance or enhance your personalised holistic take home yoga practice session. 

BEHIND THE SCENES: Nicole makes advanced edits your practice to make sure it continues to suit where you are at.

2. Second session:
Learning your first practice

60 minutes 

Meet with Nicole at Picton or in your home. This session usually occurs about two weeks after the initial consultation.

The first time you get to see your practice! Nicole will teach you your practice. Your first practice will be 10 minutes maximum to begin with, unless you already have a longer home yoga practice integrated in your weekly habits.  

You get to discuss any changes to further personalise it.  Remove any shapes, stretches or practices that do not suit.

BEHIND THE SCENES: Nicole edits your practice to make sure it is right for you.

5. Fifth session:
Collaborate to overcome
obstacles

60 minutes.

This session usually occurs about three weeks after 4th session.

Opportunity to check in with Nicole about life and goal changes.

Discussion of outcomes of practice so far. 

Coaching about how to continue overcome obstacles to sustain and embed your personalised holistic take home yoga practice.

3. Third session:
Learning your modified practice

60 minutes 

Meet with Nicole at Picton or in your home. This session usually occurs about three weeks after your second session.

Nicole will teach you your modified practice.

Nicole will move through your practice with you to embody the teachings and review if any variations, modifications or adjustments are needed. 

Important text or email check ins take place with Nicole to ensure practice can be modified for your needs.​​

6. Sixth session:
Learn your personalised practice  final version

60 minutes. 

This session usually occurs about three  weeks after 5th session. 

THIS IS A BONUS FREE OF CHARGE WHEN BOOKING MOON BUNDLE. 

Final session to learn the final version of your modified person practice. 

Final in the moment adaptations of your practice to any new needs or curiosities.
